About LCM

Lutheran Campus Ministry at St. Cloud State was started in 1956.  In 1992, University Lutheran Church of the Epiphany was formed around LCM to provide a unique ministry opportunity that allows students and members of the community to work and worship Christ together.

LCM of St. Cloud is a Reconciling in Christ campus ministry, providing an open and affirming welcome to students of all sexual orientations and their allies and friends.  LCM and ULCE believe that God created all of us and loves us all equally, and we extend that love to all in the St. Cloud community.

At Lutheran Campus Ministry of St. Cloud, All Are Welcome!  Come experience the love and grace of Jesus Christ with us!

Here in this place, students are welcome to participate in every way: as readers, singers, musicians, assisting ministers and communion assistants.

Here in this place, there are no strangers because all guests are welcome and respected. People of many differing backgrounds, walks of life, choices and fields of study, ethnic heritages, ages, genders and sexual orientations are honored as God honors all people.

Here in this place, we wrestle with tough questions about faith and life and how we can make a difference in the world.  We don't shy away from important matters in the world and we remember a lot of people and places in our prayers.

Here in this place, you will experience the awesome grace and love of God. Here, you will make life-long friends and will grow in your faith and walk with Jesus Christ.

Wednesday Night Supper For A Buck

Wednesdays at 6pm, let LCM do the cooking instead.  Join us for a delicious home-cooked meal made by our wonderful ULCE Student Supper Crew! All you need is 1 dollar!

Great food with great friends and great fellowship!

You don't need to be a member of our church or any church to come to Supper with us! All Are Welcome, Please come join us!

Other Fun Activities at LCM

Annual Lemonade Handout - Every year during Move-In Weekend at SCSU, we here at University Lutheran and LCM hand out lemonade on the corner of 4th and 4th to thirsty freshman and parents moving into the dorms on campus.  Each year, we hand out 50 to 60 gallons of lemonade with the help of our members and friends in our community.

LCM Kick-Off BBQ - Every year, University Lutheran also holds our annual Kick-Off BBQ on ULCE's Front Lawn.  We fire up the grill and invite all our friends to join us for a true Minnesota cookout.

Quarry Park Swimming Trips - Come jump in a lake with us!  While the weather is warm, grab your swimsuit and towel and join us at Quarry Park in Waite Park for an afternoon of cliff-diving quarry pond fun!

Sailing Trips - PJ and "Captain" Jack Hayes invite you to join LCM on Otter Tail Lake for fun sailing adventures on the Sun Dolphin, PJ and Jack's gorgeous trimaran sailboat!

Biking Buddies - Join the University Lutheran Biking Buddies on our adventures on trails around the St. Cloud area Sunday afternoons during good weather.

LCM Hope Garden - Established in 2010, The LCM Hope Garden is funded by a grant from the ELCA Hunger Program.  All vegetables grown in the Hope Garden are donated to Place of Hope Ministries in St. Cloud.  We can always use help prepping and planting the garden in the spring as well as picking vegetables throughout the growing season

Volunteer Opportunities - University Lutheran Church of the Epiphany & Lutheran Campus Ministry of St. Cloud place a strong emphasis on social justice and community service.  We are always looking for opportunities to get our members and friends out in our community to volunteer and help spread the love of Jesus Christ to our neighbors.

Mission Trips - Team LCM Mission Trips are a blast!!  Past destinations have been Florida for Haitian Refugee Resettlement Work and Mississippi for Gulf Coast Rehabilitation.  Our mission trips are usually either during SCSU's Spring Break or "May Break" (first week after Spring Semester Finals).

Other Fellowship Activities at LCM : Study Buddy Nights during Finals Week, Movie Nights, Game Nights, Bonfires at PJ's, Lutherans vs. Catholics Football with Newman Center, Bowling With the Catholics, and many, many more!

Worship Opportunities

Worship
SUNDAYS at 10:30 a.m. During Academic Year
10:00am during Summer Break

Worship at ULCE is AMAZING!

Come worship with our congregation every Sunday morning  at University Lutheran Church of the Epiphany.  We celebrate the Lord's Supper every week in Holy Communion, sing cool songs and worship with a combination of new and old hymns - all to the glory of God in Jesus Christ.

LCM NightLight - Student-Led Worship
WEDNESDAYS at 7:15pm

Join us Wednesday nights following our Student Supper for a beautiful student-led candlelight devotional service, where we look deep into the Gospel and answer the hard questions about how it relates to our lives as college students and members of our community.
